A little bit of everything
Nice was a mix of the two things I love about live events: making the broadcast work and finding ways to get the crowd involved. I looked after interviews, walkout cues and shared camera requests across the English and French feeds, while pitching games and giveaways for the breaks.

Keeping the show moving
I coordinated every player interview, working with our bilingual interviewer, the English and French broadcasts, and front of house. I adapted each interview for the arena, the French broadcast and, where needed, the English online feed.
The English feed controlled the cameras, so I was the link to its Assistant Director whenever the French broadcast needed camera coverage for crowd segments.

Making the breaks fun
We ran mini quizzes, rock-paper-scissors matches for signed jerseys, and Riftbound booster openings. I sourced French-language boosters through Riot, brought in a French caster who knew the cards, and helped hand out the merch. Watching fans get excited about it was easily one of my favorite parts of the weekend.
