Eleven showdays in South Korea
For MSI 2026, I joined the international broadcast crew on-site in Daejeon to produce the English-language feed. It was a change from my usual LEC setup in Berlin, with a new team, a new venue and a lot to get ready before going live.
Across 11 broadcast days, I switched between Prod 1 and Prod 2 and helped make sure the English feed was technically ready for each show.
Two sides of the broadcast
As Prod 1, I called the live show and worked with talent on the stories and analysis happening outside the games.
As Prod 2, I focused on the games themselves: requesting in-game assets, supporting the casters and keeping the in-game broadcast running smoothly.
A different kind of show
Beyond the producer desk, I conducted player interviews and took a DJI camera around the arena and FanFest to capture some of the atmosphere.
What I enjoyed about MSI was the variety: moving between two producer roles, working with an international crew, and getting to tell stories beyond the broadcast desk. It was a chance to bring what I'd learned on the LEC into a different environment — and pick up a few new perspectives along the way.
