Growing into the role

I've been part of LEC broadcast production since May 2024. I started as Prod 2 and gradually moved into Prod 1, taking on more ownership of the stories we tell, the segments we build and the show we put on air.

These days, I'm involved from the first ideas for a show all the way through the live broadcast. I work with talent to shape the day's stories, write scripts and segments, prepare the rundown, and call the show. Once we're live, it's about keeping everyone on the same page and making quick decisions when plans change.

In 2026, I was Prod 1 for 34 of the 49 LEC Versus and Spring showdays.

More than showdays

One of my favorite things about this job is that it isn't just about calling a show. Between broadcasts, I get to pitch ideas and work with other teams to bring them to life.

That has included developing themed broadcast wipes with Histeria, coordinating Twitch subscriber emotes with an external artist, and working on reusable League-inspired props. I've also helped rethink how we approach player interviews, from writing updated team interview obligations to coordinating with the people who put them into practice.

Sometimes an idea turns into a big show moment. Sometimes it's a small change that makes a broadcast feel better. I enjoy both.

A few highlights from 2026

2026 LEC Versus

I was Prod 1 for 12 of 20 showdays. I wrote and produced the monologue that opened the playoffs and supported the split's first roadtrip remotely from Berlin.

2026 LEC Spring

I was Prod 1 for 22 of 29 showdays, including a 30-minute semifinal pre-show. I also worked on collaborative segments with MKOI for the Madrid roadtrip, interviewed players during an arena arcade activation, and coordinated with the pyrotechnics team for the final.

2026 LEC Summer

Alongside regular LEC broadcasts, I took on more creative and arena-facing responsibilities at the 2026 LEC Nice Roadshow. It gave me the chance to produce fan games and giveaways while coordinating interviews, host cues and both language feeds.

Why I love it

No two showdays are quite the same. I like getting into the details, but the best part is working with a team to take an idea from a conversation to something people actually get to watch.
